Barrie Fair (Essa & District Agricultural Society)

The Barrie Fair promotes agriculture and agri-buisness in the local Simcoe County community. Hosted at the Essa Agriplex by the Essa & District Agricultural Society, located in the centre of Ontario, featuring livestock shows, a kids zone, vendors, homecrafts, a farm education centre with live demonstrations. From live bands to multiple truck & tractor pulls, a demolition derby, midway, dog shows, and much more; there is something for everyone at the Barrie Fair.

Coe Hill Fair (Coe Hill Agricultural Society)

The Coe Hill Fair was founded in 1882. The first Fair was held in Salem, two miles north of Coe Hill. The second Fair was then held in Coe Hill with the first exhibits in the Town Hall. In the early 1900s the Fair moved to its present location. Friday night is our Demolition Derby, we also have our pony pulls and the Midway is in full swing. On Saturday we have our talent show, heavy horse pulls, many concessions, live bands, light horse show, midway with rides for all ages, and lots of animals on show.

Fenelon Fair (Fenelon Agricultural Society)

Urban Farm Experience (Peterborough Agricultural Society)

Update Just wanted to let you know the directors voted on cancelling our August 12 th Agricultural Experiences day. With us having to relocate it was all a bit overwhelming to say the least. We are continuing on with the Rabbit and Cavy show that day and of course our event with Lang Pioneer Village. More information to follow. The Peterborough Agricultural Society, will be offering several livestock shows and homecraft events through the year. Out of the gate first is a Tack Exchange being hosted at Kawartha Downs Raceway on April 3rd. June we are hosting our Poultry and Rabbit and Cavy show along with a sale. The Peterborough Agricultural Society and local horse club will be hosting a horse show in Bethany! In August our homecraft committee will take center stage. Also in August we will be welcoming back the Ernst Boyles Market Steer and Lamb Show and Sale!

Woodstock Fair (Woodstock Agricultural Society)

The Woodstock Fair is an annual event where city and country meet. This year the theme is Harvest Daze. We are still in the midst of planning. Watch our Facebook page, website and Instagram page for updates.

Marmora Fair (Marmora Agricultural Society)

Homecraft, floral and vegetable displays along with local talent in the arts and photography, Competitions through out the day. Horse Competitions , Horse, and Pony Show, English and Western. Saturday night we will have our Demolition Derby. Heavy Horse Pull during the weekend. We have many Vendors booked and are always looking for more. For the children, we have the Saturday competitions for the youngsters and the Kiddie Tractor Pull and Petting Zoo. Live music all weekend and much more. We hope to see you there.

Rural Heritage Days (Rural Heritage Agricultural Society)

Welcome to the Rural Heritage Days. Event starts Friday, Sep 8th, Saturday 9:00 am – 7:00 pm. Attractions include plowing competitions, tractor rodeo, antique equipment displays, demonstrations in binding, stooking, threshing & grain grinding as done in the 1920’s. Antique tractor parade Saturday afternoon. Other demonstrations include sawmill & planers from the early 1900’s. Food & display vendors, live music.
